This is HALLOWEEN this is HALLOWEEN-HALLOWEEN-HALLOWEEN, Its that day of the year were ghoulish party's go all night, kids hunt for candy and all night HORROR~THONS are looped in all the good cable channels. I love everything about Halloween. It marks the start of the holidays as well as I just really fucking like HALLOWEEN. Its the best time to sit and watch all the cool most HAUNTED locations TV specials. But I'm gonna do something a little different for our site not the same rehashed Top Horror movies thing everyone's done to death, I'm gonna pay homage to those other films not so well known or talked about, I'm gonna list our favorite lesser known guilty pleasure cinema we around INKHEAD HQ love.

So I present to you "INKHEADS TOP 13 CULT CLASSICS"! BWHAHAHAHAHAHA! Ok maybe not so original but whatever its Halloween and we have a quota to meet so Atario and I sat around and hammered title after title of our favorites. It was a bitch to narrow them down to our favorite 13 but we finally got a nice enough list with plenty of variety in the B category. These will be the first tenants to occupy the newly formed CULT VAULT!

#13.LEVIATHAN (1989)


"Welcome to your worst nightmare, welcome to Leviathan" That was the tag line to this 1989 cult underwater monster flick starring Peter "Murphy" Weller aka Robocop. Him and the gang are deep sea miners who find an old Soviet Wreck and bring some mutant thing on board .... well its kinda like "The Abyss" mixed with "The Thing" only cheaper.

#12.DR.GIGGLES (1992)



The psychopathic son of a mass-murdering doctor, escapes from his mental institution to seek revenge on the town where his father was caught. Larry Drake( the bad guy from Darkman and Darkman 2) plays Dr. Giggles.








#11.NIGHT OF THE CREEPS (1986)




"It's MILLER time !!!"
In 1959, an alien experiment crashes to earth and infects a fraternity member. They freeze the body, but in the modern day, two geeks pledging a fraternity accidentally thaw the corpse, which proceeds to infect the campus with parasites that transform their hosts into killer zombies.





#10.DEAD ALIVE aka BRAIN DEAD (1992)



A young man's mother is bitten by a "rat- monkey." She gets sick and dies, at which time she comes back to life, killing and eating dogs, nurses, friends, and neighbors. Way before "Lord of the Rings", Peter "EAT LEAD SUCKA!!" Jackson Directed this blood fest thats so absurd it's awesome!






#9. C.H.U.D. (1984)





A rash of bizarre murders in New York City seems to point to a group of grotesquely deformed vagrants living in the sewers. A policeman, a photo journalist and his girlfriend, and a nutty bum, band together to try and determine what the creatures are and how to stop them.





#8. HOUSE (1986)



"Ding dong, you're dead." William Katt aka "The Greatest American Hero" moves into a new house and tries to work on a novel based on his experiences in the Vietnam War. Strange things start happening around him; little things at first, but as they become more frequent he becomes aware that the house resents his presence.


#7. FRIGHT NIGHT (1985)




Charlie Brewster (the Herman from Herman's Head) and his girl, Marcy from Married with Children think their neighbor is a vampire so of course the only one who can help him hunt them down is a washed-up actor, Peter Vincent, who hosts Charlie's favorite TV show, Fright Night.






#6. CREEP-SHOW (1982)


Inspired by the E.C. comics of the 1950s, George A.Romero and Stephen King bring five tales of terror to the screen. The first deals with a demented old man returning from the grave to get the Father's Day cake. The second is about a not-too-bright farmer discovering a meteor that turns everything into plant-life. The third is about a vengeful husband burying his wife and her lover up to their necks on the beach. The fourth is about a creature that resides in a crate under the steps of a college. The final story is about an ultra-rich businessman who gets his comeuppance from cockroaches.

A space shuttle mission investigating Halley's Comet brings back a malevolent race of space vampires who transform most of London's population into zombies. The only survivor of the expedition and British authorities attempt to capture a mysterious but beautiful alien woman who appears responsible

This horror movie concerns a shipwrecked yachting party. Rose (Brooke Adams) and her fellow yacht-mates, including the captain (John Carradine) run aground on an island when they hit an odd-looking freighter. Once beached, they meet up with an aging SS Commander (Peter Cushing) who had been in charge of a crew of zombies.
